Grey Import Licenses
 

Any one know what grey import licenses are and are they worth getting <IMG SRC="smilies/rolleyes.gif" border="0">

the only grey import things I know about are usually Japanese cars m8.

Grey import licenses are software licenses purchased legally in one country, and imported illegally to another country. Most software purchased in North America says "For sale in the USA and Canada only." The reason the term "grey" is used, is because the software itself is licensed legally, however it's use in an unauthorized country is not.

NOTE: anybody buying this software will not recieve support ....because it is a USA product.

Much as i disagree with copys at about £5.oo a copy is there any point in paying £126.81 for a ....non registered copy.

in the UK they stick 17.5% on everything (pays for the missiles etc....sick)

Yeah, they do that in the US too... only they get 30% right out of my paycheck, and 6% on my purchases. At least I don't pay tax on computer stuff <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">
