tsstcorp ts-h552b DVD read/writer Drive and Internet

Hey everyone..

A nooby here so please be gentle.. hehe..

Ive recently bought one of these dvd writer drives and ive got the oddest problem with it.

I can use the DVD Writer and Internet independently but if I try and use them both together, my internet connection drops.. without fail.

I have 2 Writers.. one a Yamaha and one as above.. the Yamaha works fine with no problems while using the net but as soon as i either read/write with the Toshiba drive the net drops..

I've tried other tech supp forums etc but the responses i've had are less than helpful.

I've checked Hardware Manager and there are no hardware/software/resource conflicts.

I'm running, Windows 2K, SP4, all the updates etc.

Anyone any idea on what the problem is or how to cure it please?
