[RESOLVED] No DOS sounds
Creative Labs tells me that the serial number on my sound card lets me know it's a SOUND BLASTER 16. But the drivers for that type don't get me sound for DOS programs. Only one of my DOS programs can use those drivers, but it tells me its a SOUND BLASTER PRO 2. But I can't find those drivers. My PC tells me that my sound card is an AZTEC 2320 PnP, but no drivers seem to be compatible for that type. I've even tried to change the two DMAs (8-bit and 16-bit)and IRQ, but none of my programs accept a
DMA lower than 5 or higher than 7. What the Hell is going on? Please help.

Hi. Have you checked the dos programs/games? There was a lot of stuff written that was not SB-compatible. Sometimes games were released in multiple versions, Tandy Sound being a common alternative to SB. If it is a software version problem, you can change the drivers till the cows come home and there's never going to be any sound.
