Your link speed shouldn't make too much of a difference. The maximum throughput of a cable modem is well below 10 megabits. My router pc uses a 10 megabit nic on the cable modem side and I still...

I use a SIS900 on my motherboard and have no speed issues.
Maybe the problem is not your network adapter.
Did you check to see if you have a virus or some spyware?

Being part of a so-called "civilized" society means we are above doing things like that.

Loss of material things does not warrant a persons death.
It is the devaluation of a human life that is part of the problem.
Death is a common occurrence where life is cheap.

Nothing like givin it gas in a Mustang.
The fuel economy is not bad with the manual transmission.

I have been robbed at knifepoint, and gunpoint. I have had my car broken into, my stuff stolen. I have been burglarized. I have been jumped and had the poo beat out of me.
I still don't wish...

Death for stealing?
You are sick.
Hell, that would clear out most of Baltimore city here.
We have a lot of people here that never had a chance to live in a decent society, violence, drugs,...

I agree with this statement.
I agree with this statement also.
I also believe that police officers who are in danger of their life are justified in using deadly force.
All these things...

Would you mind giving a less generalized statement?
Do you mean retribution as a bad or good thing?

Truly these sick vicious animals don't belong in society.
How does it reflect on yourself when you wish death and suffering on others.
Even scumbags like above. How can you hold yourself above...

Execution of somebody is FINAL. It can not be undone.
If an innocent person is imprisoned, there is always hope of exoneration.
Look at what you are saying. Is life really that worthless to...

What if that innocent person just can't keep up?
Execute that person?
Could you live with that on your conscience?
-

So, what is the monetary value of a human life?
It wouldn't be keeping them alive for nothing. It's for insurance.
To insure that not one innocent person is ever executed by mistake.

I agree, except for the final injection.

I am satisfied in the fact that while my money goes to feed these animals, it also goes to keeping them away from decent people.
Would you be happier not giving any money and having either these...

I think that only applies to the ones who at some future time may be fit to return to society. Clearly that is NOT the case with this animal. People like that need to be completely removed from...

It costs more for all of the appeals involved with executing the trash.
The lawyers are the only winners in that situation.
Did the family pull out the gun and commit the crime?
-
January 25th, 2005, 03:46 PM
Quite possibly.
At least the "family" won't be put through the rollercoaster ride of moving execution dates, false hope and such.
-
January 25th, 2005, 03:01 PM
The issue that seems to escape you people is that an execution does not only punish the condemned, it also punishes the family members on the condemned side.
Now, the condemned is a lowlife piece...

Thanks for the reply. Their fees are reasonable compared to some of the larger data recovery services.
I purchased a drive of the same model "ST380021A" as the bad drive. The board looks...
