XP burning software sucks. Twice as slow as a good 3rd party program (on my system), and nowhere near the options.
Show me how to burn an ISO, how about a mixed audio and data CD, or print a cover...

It is very strange indeed. To put it bluntly, Roxio shot themselves in the foot. EZCD just won't work with XP, UNLESS you run out and buy EZCD5, so all of you that got 4.x bundled with your burner...

Check out the forums on any good gaming site, and they'll all recommend the Diamond Supra Express, either external serial (not USB) or internal ISA. Very few are happy with their USR's.

redstar01, it won't work with yours, because it's an HP modem, that just happens to have a Conexant chip on it.
I can't guarantee any given driver will work with any given modem, but in most cases...
