I open up excel and the visual basic for marcros starts running. Excel works, but it's a pain in the rear, how I do get VB to be permantely disable?????

Nevermind guys, all I did was turned off the firewall and went online from that computer then turned the firewall back on. It works now the way it should.

^^^ yea i try that, but the thing is I can't log intot he router with that IP.
I even tried setting my computer to like 192.168.0.10 and it still wouldn't go to the router. The Link lite is up...

I don't know if anyone mentioned this... but try flashing the bios with the same or newer version, that also helps.

Did you try it with the same IDE ribbon? If not, I'd advised to try it with a different one and make sure it's installed correctly... because I had that same exact problem... and it was the ribbon...
