its a dell computer
intel pentium 4 at 1.7 ghz
512mb of ddr pc3200 ram
radeon 9200
40 gig dell harddrive
some generic cdrw drive
and intel mobo
it is setup as single partition...40 gig hd...

there should be plenty....its a 40 gig drive...i think still has like 30 gigs on it....plus are errors in the file system a huge issue...doesn it mean her hd is failing?

my g/fs chkdisk on windows xp (sp2) found errors in the file system but was unable to fix them due too insufficent disk space....im confused as to what to do now...

my g/f's comp will not boot to desktop...it boots half way very slowly...gets to the windows splash screen goes black and then an error message appears in left top of the screen that says: No boot...

My DVD Combo Drive a Plextor PX-712SA seems to not want to read any media be it dvd or cd correctly....what happens is when its reading the media the audio whether its from the media or the computer...

kay heres the prob while updating zonealarm today i got a stop error message after i restarted (and i know zonealarm is the cause because i restarted previoulsy before the upgrade and it was fine) so...

it seems the fans helped i played half life 2 for 2 hours or so an never once froze.....hopefully ive fixed it
