I think the bigger question is DOES E use the network? If so why does it work if E clicks cancel? This could be a minor driver issue, as stated by others, or could be something much bigger.

When this happens to a customers machine I ALWAYS!!!! reboot the machine off a clean win98 disk and see if I can read a CD. IF I can guess what windows has problems, even a virus probably, if not...
