You could use VPN I think. But why not use wins on the web server... have it point to a domain controller and then a computer on your domain can back it up using arcserv backup.

This is a flat text cgi driven BB isn't it? Horrendous hit to your web servers performance. Use a mySQL based board. No more hitting view and sitting back and taking a nap.

Its a stable 3.37, never seen it flux.
I added the registry fix for win2000 memory corruption problems and it fixed it!(found it in the faq). Thanks for the tip.

Heat I do not think is the issue. I'm running with the case off and the AMD is maxing out at 52c on a bad day.
Actually I need to look into that. it was maxing out at 46c just a few weeks ago. ...

Ok this has been my problem. My system will lock up totally and uterrly in 3d games. Some times it only takes 10 minutes, some times it takes several hours.

Arcserv is a pile of steaming overpriced dung.
However, based on the fact that the program itself is a VERY VERY basic program I think it will go on just fine.

Odd question. I assume the AMD chip is supported by the mboard? :)

I take that back, the first time I took the temp it probobly hadn't thinned out the thermal compound yet. Now its idling at 35 celc. 2 degrees lower than my older one. But still the main problem...

Ok, the profiles are stored locally on the PCs hard-drive. If they do somehow go into roaming mode(and thus get stored on the server), they would be on the same server...

All these PCs are aprt of a Domain aswell if you might think it is a glitch with the Domain controller.

I have been wondering the same. The chipset and card both have fans on their heatsinks yes.
Its not the card that causes the hangs, but it may be the card that sends extra heat to the CPU.
