Wonder if this could be a multi-boot issue...so lets say you have two HD's...one for WinXP, the other for Win2003. You say you choose to boot between the two from the BIOS...so either boot to Primary...

So I start my new job in a week, and one of the things I want to tackle is Internet Explorer, or IE. The office needs to use IE for one thing, some funky Citrix client thing. I'm gonna try without IE...

See I'm all for comic movies, but they always seem to bungle it up...the bike on the site looks too chromey and clean to be ghost-rider...at least when it was good. Like the Green Goblin in...

I really was starting to like MaximumPC, after hating them for some time...but anyway, I'm in protest of the since they ran a 16 page ad a few months back. It's not so bad really, I pick up CPU...

Yeah, I would suspect power supply first.

ERD is great...as a psuedo-freeware alternative, you can try BartPE next time. If done right you could accomplish the same thing for free! Outside of the WinXP CD, but you probably already have that.

Or a repair install...didn't think of that before. That would save all her registry info...
As yet another alternative if you have one already you might want to boot into BartPE and see what you...

Forgot about the batch file part:
start /wait setup.exe /S
That's a pretty normal command...start is the command that just loads something, /wait is the switch to make it wait until the...

Yeah, that's what I use for default WinXP installs...Win9x is still decent with ghost.
You'll want to read that guide front-to-back, then check out the forums. They have several tools that can...

I was working on a A series the other week, and it only offered to make recovery CD's from the HD...didn't allow you to boot to it though. Which is lame...
As for a fix, you could always install...

Zing! For video storage...or more specifically, for what you are wanting to do that looks like a good setup. The only thing I would be worrying about is the navigation of such a beast. But maybe the...

That's what I do...wish it would auto-detect it, but delete the ENUM is the easiest way. You could take it a step further and uninstall and major drivers from the older hardware.

This would normally happen during some software install/update...somewhere along the lines the registry entries get goofed and stupid things like that start to happen. I have a batch file that I made...

Yeah, since you are unable to get into Windows your only option is a repair install...sounds like you already got that under control.

I normally load BartPE or ERD 2005 and then move all the info you wanted saved to a new folder, usually called 'Backup'. Then once I've got it all, I delete all the other folders and files on the...
