I've seen many clients with all of C: shared in Napster, Scour, etc. With the right plugins, doesn't take a whole lot to open up to the world.

Wow, alot to cover! 1) ICS bites and has a ton of security holes. 2) Routers are nice with hardware firewalls...BUT watch out for the browser access to configuration...another hole if not set up...

might be lagmonster, but most likely it is the far more common QAZ. Look for *.hsq files to be sure. FYI, QAZ is a backdoor and is highly common and contagious on networks

are you sure is says memory and not enough space to run them? Check the root directory and make sure you have less than 256 files\folders in it.

Just curious, was that SC a Yamaha chipset? Had 3 different systems have issues with Yamaha SC and ME's drivers. Installed 98 drivers and they work great now....just a thought
