Was wondering if any one has an easy method of removing (AKA renaming multiple files), maybe using batch file or scrypt. instead of renaming them one at a time.

All is well now
went back over last night and ran the removal tool from
symantic and the security patch from m$
also had to remove and reinstall norton as it had isues

I have actually soldered IDE pins back on drives with out any problem on 2 occasions. no big deal when you consider the other choice was to toss the drives in the big brown bin by my bench.

Just a thought but why not try to reload AOL and see if the files just magically appear.

Friend of mine has in the past refunded the hard to deal with customer his money then sell off the pc at cost that way no more head aches. You may loose on the sale but you will gain in peace of mind...
