I was a Norton guy until 2004. Man that version sucked! Since then I have been using Grisoft AVG 7.0 and have no complaints. It has worked well.

Dell has a small FAT16 recovery partition that is about 30MB's. All my Inspiron notebooks had them however after receiving them I deleted the entire partition to set it up my way.
