I dont know about laptop screens but there are two types of LCD true digital and analog. Not sure where the difference comes in as far as operations but you can definatly see it in the pricetag.

Let me see if I am getting this right but.
1. 3DNow is MMX. There was some contractural stuff from when AMD made components for Intel. They were allowed to use the MMX extentions but not allowed...

yes, and if I am reading the second question correctly that is yes also, but cd players do not play .wav...it converts it to .cda
