72 Torino every day for 10 years (big joke was my car will in Y2K). Mostly to the train, couple months of city. Got progressivly worse till engine blew. Still have it......

Very low tech but seen it twice: Take off what ever plastic front cover it has and try to turn on by hitting the switch directly, not by pressing the nice looking case switch that just presses down...

Hmm, more to "Windows Update" failing than just busy? It was hit or miss for us on a network/firewall as soon as XP SP2 came out and gave the new windows update custom or express choices. Backed up...

Has anyone ever gotten the boss to pay for these? Spybot looks like "Donate", so to my boss that means free. How's the licensing for AdAware? Any body use legit in corporate enviorment?

If they are not technical, they're gonna look at your list and think you sleep. We went through this a few years ago and looked light duty on paper. If your list looks thin, get the "other" list...

Got a similar problem with the techs knowing more than the boss. It's OK if the boss doesn't have all the answers as long as: 1 - he/she knows where to get them, 2- has enough faith in their people...

first thing you see is a dropdown with "Please select your location(language)" with Canada or US.
If you pick Canada are the directions gonna say "no?" and "ey" alot? What's US, "Yawl" and "dude"?...
