Hi,
are you using "simple file sharing" (which always seems to me as the least simple way...)
if so - disable the feature

Sbox is not bulletproof - nothing is
Try to see if you can detect the owner of the file (file creator attribute).
Also you can always do auditin on the root folder to see who (or what) is creating...

My take on the subject
1. To be a slimmer more transperant OS - Vista is a heavy OS (lots of files, lots of services) and the OS works in a way that the user not always know whats going on....

BTW on my computer there are 3 browsers installed - IE, Firefox (v2 I am waiting a bit to FF3 to mature) and Opera. This way I am quite sure I am not missing anything...
