Are the two wireless NICs in the two laptops the same?
Have you tried setting the network addresses and such up manually instead of relying on DHCP?

Turn off UPnP in the router's setup utility. That will eliminate it from coming up. It is not needed and some call it a security risk.

The Geforce2s were AGP2x/4x and will work in the newer AGP revision boards. It is only the 1x cards ya gotta worry about.

It should cause you no issues, but if you do not use the CDROM in DOS mode, there is no need for it. It is up to you to decide whether to uninstall it or not.

Those drivers really are not needed for 98 and ME if you use the standard MS boot floppy that was intended for the operating system. The only way those drivers do you any good when running windows...
