reboot and try pressing F12 when you see the 'dell' logo... this should take you to a dell diagnostic partition. test the motherboard and video and let us know the results

after you get everything going so if you run into this trouble again...when you restored your computer did you delete the restore partition? if not press f10 or f11 the second you see the hp logo...
