SFC found nothing and the problem persist. I was not able to run the IE Repair because it is not listed in the ADD/REMOVE area.

The sempron is basically a Athlon XP with half the cache. I personally think they are slower than the Athlon XP and suffer from the same problems of low bottom end performance under a load...
