    Exclamation Daewoo notebook

I have a daewoo notebook which is not functioning correctly. It boots up, power goes to the monitor but there is no image. The computer goes through it's post check and produces two long beeps. It acknowledges the floppy drive and responds to ctrl, alt, delete and ctrl, alt, s commands.

I think it is either a systems board failure or more likely the monitor adapter is faulty. I have pulled it apart and there appears to be a mould or corrosion on the underside of the power supply unit but it is powering up OK.

If anyone knows of a similar problem and a possible solution could you post it or e-mail it directly to me as it is too old and isn't worth putting in to a technitian t try to fix.

Send your computer to the trash and buy a compaq.

Why buy the compaq when it will already be in the trashcan and there free for the taking?
