Magitronic 7500AC Laptop-ROM Password
I have a client that has a Magitronic 7500AC laptop. It has a ROM Password on it. I took it apart and the ROM battery is soldered on the board. I tried pulling the jumper by the battery and pulled the Rom Chip, but the password is still there. Does anyone know how I can remove this? It doens't even boot up to floppy so I can use a software killer. Any help at all is greatly appreciated.

Try shorting the two contacts eitherside of the battery. Perhaps a paper clip or something would reach it.....
Is there a bar bending down onto the battery.? If so, put a bit of paper between this and the battery top.
Alternativly, chuck it out the window!
Is there anything on their website..?

Try one of the software bios reset programs that are available on certain sites.
I think ones called AMIBIOS if memmory serves worked on my PC but no guarantees.
