Recovery disc
I have an IBM Thinkpad 755CD Laptop that doesn't have any OS loaded. It has a CD ROM drive, but, I have to pull the floppy drive out to put it in. Then it doesn't recognize the drive. How can I load the OS on this machine? I can't get the recovery disc for it anymore. Unless by chance, someone might have one!!!! Yeah, right!!!!
Any idea's on this one. I've never done one like this one.

if you have an external cd rom or floppy drive you could do it.
But it sound like your not installing the Cdrom correctly tell us more about what happens when you exchange the Floppy for the CDROM.

put the floppy drive in and format the drive bootable. make an autoexec and config and load the cd-rom drivers from the hard drive. shut it off, and restart with the cd-rom drive in the machine.
