To get rid of the Network Login dialog, simply go into network properties and in the dropbox for Primary Network Login choose "Windows Logon". The next time the dialog comes up, enter a username and NO password.
If you have a username that already has a password, go into control panel - password, then click "Change Windows password" and change it so it is a blank password.
