It's been my experience that upgrades tend to be bad ju ju. Sometimes they work other times they don't. You may have left remnents of an old 95 driver that is trying to work with Win2K. Also the drivers that you're using are they designed for Win2k? You may want to look at a Clean install. I hate doing them also but it's usually the safest way.
