The London Underground train system is quite simply superb. When you consider how many people they move daily, and over what distances it is quite staggering. London would die without it, and I for one am very proud of it. Yes it used to be more reliable, but now the lines are jam packed with trains and people, a victim of it's own success,(having done my apprenticeship there I am rather biased, but what the hell)

You've obviously never been to Japan, because if you compare it to say Tokoyo's underground, its CRAP !

& every single one of their trains runs on time, every time

Well I drove on the Japs railway system in Microsoft Train Simulator and my train was always late, and it crashed a few times too.

Transport of every means here is 'hard work' ... full up if you ask me ! Its not like Canada ... one moose & a French Imbreed per 100 miles

At least when we get where we want to go we feel we've achieved something

    Hi there,

I guess it depends on the day and when. I didn't enjoy the ride. I got no idea why to this day when it stopped every 2-3 stations for a few minutes on the way to downtown.
