P6LX-A- Ver3.1 LX Chipset

Please would anyone tell me what motherboard I have please so I can update the bios.
boot up the bios screen @ the top tells me:

p6LX-A Ver3.1

@ the bottom:

12/23/97-i440LX-P6LX-A-00

That's all it tells me, not even the manual tells me which company made it.

Sorry I can't provide more info.

Any clues would be greatly appreciated.
