Motherboard
I have a new Intel D875PBZLK motherboard and it does not boot up, CD Rom drawer does not open, lights on the keyboard do not come on, power light and hard drive lights come on, fans work. I have another computer with the same motherboard and I have been exchanging parts with it to find out what is the faulty part, I have narrowed it down to either the motherboard or the processor chip, an Intel Pentium 4 / 3.0E GHZ 800 MHz FSB, 1MB L2 Cache, Hyper Threading Technology, Do you think this is the wrong one for this motherboard?

Assuming the bios has been updated, that cpu should work fine in that board. Can you swap the cpu into the other computer to rule it out as the problem? Have you tried booting with everything disconnected except video card and 1 stick of ram?
