DATA1.MSI issue
After several years, I'm finally getting around to using the dreaded OUTLOOK.
I have an AMD box I use for email, and it's running W2K. I went to officeupdate.microsoft.com and started reading through the updates. The first update required is o2ksrla.exe or SR1.a
When I download it and install, it hangs looking for DATA1.MSI on my install disc.
The writeup says thsi is to ensure authorized software - which the website ensured before downloading.
It is authorized. I bought it from the original manufacturer, (ABS) when I upgraded from WIN98SE.
But there is no DATA1.MS1 on the CD. (Or anywhere on my computer) There are Data1.cab files, but no MS!.
Any ideas??
Thanks in advance.
