Considering the poor (for lack of better word) designs of cases that I am constantly forced to work on (not gonna mention any names like HP or Power Spec) I couldn't live without mine. The problem I find is that the magnetic tips are usualy "soft" and wear out quickly, while the hardened tips I find are non-magnetic. Solution? Rare earth magnet out of a 10MB Conner HDD. A couple of swipes and any screw diver can practicly be used to pick up an engine block. Good for de-resing floppies, too.
