Anyone know how to get a .cxt file into word?
Anyone know how to get a .cxt file into word? Not sure what .cxt file extention is, someone said PGP but can that be? (Rhyme not intended) Thanks all who post, and those who read.

open word - then open document and change it to all files then open up the file

Tryed that, comes out like goop. Just scrambled symbols and text. I am trying it with Word 2000

dunno-but .cxx is a c++ source code file-maybe they're related?

where did you get the file from? and what were they using to create it?

Looked it up and this is what I find for that type of file..
CXT | Macromedia Director protected (not editable)
CXT | "Cast" (resource) file
I'd guess it's the former. Try loading it up in that app. Found a couple others, but they were all text files.

This is an old program that has real estate forms in it, I am trying to sell my house but the forms are out of date, I want to put them in word so I can update them.
