Cool

Believe it or not, those drivers are already contained in Win98. Your card should be automatically detected. If you're using an older operating system, you'll probably have to do a web search for a download site. Video Seven seems to have dropped off the map; even Windrivers' link to it is gone!

Dumass: FYI, the Video7 VRAM is a display adapter circa 1988 or '89.

Reddrrobben: The drivers you need should already be in Win95 as well. What is showing up in device manager under display adapters?

figure out what chipset the video card has on it and from what ive seen on the web for info
2 video 7 isa boards use an ht-216 chipset
the 1024-i andthe vga 16
the vram II ergo used the ht -209/d
the win pro and warp 10 used s3/801/805 chipset how much memory do these cards have in them?? you might be stuck with 16 colours
if they are 256/ers maybe its time for an upgrade???

The "1024" in his card model means it has 1Mb of VRAM on board. With the proper drivers it will do 16bit color at 800x600. I sold quite a few of these cards way back when. In their day they were the baddest, fast card around.

Wink

Sowulo: You must be an old dude like me! I remember when 1MB ISA video cards were the thing to have (unless you were a spoiled rich kid and got a 2-megger for bragging rights).

Reddrrobben: Sorry to leave you hanging with an incomplete answer. Open display properties, click on display adapter (this may be under advanced, I've forgotten Win95 details), click on change, choose show all hardware, scroll down to Video Seven and choose Vram1024. After reboot, you should be all set. Running the install for DirectX v5, 5.2 and 6.0 may install updated drivers for your card. Good luck!
