[RESOLVED] Monitor Display Problems

My display was set just right when I got this computer then one day it warped out on me. I adjusted it as far as I could and said I'd live with it. Then my computer crashed and I had to reload everything and my display was once again perfect. Two weeks later it changed again. I now have an inch of black on either side of the screen. I have tried adjusting it in the display area and with my monitor settings. It still will not go right. I can't find anything else to do. Need help! I have an eMachine 333i, Windows 98, Rage IIc AGP video driver (which I updated) and I somehow suspect that WinTV may be my culprit but I may be wrong. Any suggestions?

Try adjusting the refresh rate.

Control Panel - Display - Settings tab - Advanced button - Adapter tab.
