    Post Voodoo Troubles

I've been using my Voodoo 3 PCI card for a long time now with no problems at all but now, all of a sudden, I'm having gamma problems. I can set my gamma through 3Dfx tools like i usually do but when I start up my games and the glide or d3d drivers kick in I'm defaulting back to a much lower gamma setting. When I get in-game my graphics are dark even with the in-game gamma settings all the way up. I've installed the new Voodoo 3 drivers, updated directx to 8.0a, and nothing seems to make a difference. I upgraded to Windows ME but I don't really think that's my problem since it's been running fine until now. I contacted 3Dfx tech support (what's left of it) and they couldn't help me either. Any ideas would greatly be appreciated.
    Thx

try the omega drivers for these had fixed most of my problems from gama to flakey sreen quality. they are also faster compared to the 3dfx origanal drivers. on the same page is some recommeded bios setting for the vodoo 3. try the link below.

I use these on my vodoo3 and vodoo5

Thx for the tip Gilesclermont, the omega drivers are great (much faster). Still having the same gamma problem though, just can't figure it out. I thought I may have had a conflict because of my previous drivers but I did a complete spring cleaning on my registry and folders and did a fresh install of the Omega drivers but still the same problems. If you have any more suggestions I'd appreciate it. Starting to think my card is shot.
    Thx,
