GATEWAY200 CRYSTALSCAN 1024NI. PLEASE HELP!!
ok... i've got a gateway crystalscan 1024NI monitor and i'm stuck in 640x480. i've consulted the monitor specification table and it had this to say:
Gateway 2000 CrystalScan 1024NI
active display(mm):245 x 180, DP:.28, Bandwidth(Mhz):65, Hsync(Khz):31.5,48 Vsync:50-90, Physical max. res(pixels):875 x 643.
i've got the most recent drivers i can find and have tried about everything i can think of to get it to run even 800x600. is there anything i can do?
PLEASE! I'M DESPERATE HERE

Make sure that the monitor setting in display properties is for your Gateway monitor or at least Super VGA (1024x768). This will allow your video card to be set to a higher resolution.
When all else fails.....FDISK!
