For $166 USD I got a GeForce 2 GTS/PRO 64mb DDR with TV-out and that was with rush shipping, and they gave me win dvd and unreal tourny. And since you are from UK and using pounds tehn you should be able to get it with 150.

I used www.pricewatch.com for mine. Give it a try I think that you will like it

They are both good cards, but here is a word of warning: I decided on the GF2 MX, and they delivered a GF2 MX 200!!! I did not even realize they screwed me until it was too late. I am replacing it with a true value card - a Radeon LE. There are, uh, things you can do to make it perform like a standard Radeon, and it only goes for like $70. I put one in my dad's 1Ghz Thunderchicken, and it rocks! Should have it in about 2 weeks, let you know how it turns out.

    Thumbs up

well...I would suggest the geforce. However, the radeon has hardware dvd decoding...NVIDIA does not incorporate that. On the other hand...the Radeon doesnt have on board texture and lighting which geforce does. Its all up to you. If your computer is fast enough you can easily do without the hardware dvd...I have a geforce and I'm satisfied.

I like my Voodoo5 5500 better than any card that I have ever owned. Also it is very cheap right now

I have just upgraded from a hercules 3d Prophet II MX to a creative Geforce2 PRO 64mb 400mhz ddr ram, on my P3800 my 3dmark2001 score went from 2201 to 2895, and this gem was only £150 from dabs.com.

I've used both (ATI All in Wonder Radeon + ASUS 7100 MX400). They are both about equal performance and both can be overclocked to get a little extra speed. Just comes down to which you can find in your price range. And as stated above...ensure that you are getting the MX400 and NOT the MX200!
