Screen resolution
I have a sony trinitron that is supposed to support 1280x1024 res. but if I select the res. I get 1024 resolution and the screen area is larger than the screen and moves around with my mouse, how do I get 1280x1024?
My video card supports 1920x1200
Thanks

That's kind of odd. Usually when that happens, there will be another bar under the screen resolution called desktop resolution. Have you looked for that one?

That is called panning. That means, basically, that the monitor supports that resolution, but ya gotta pan, so it's kinda sorta a lie. Very common on laptops. I always go by the NATIVE resolution, which is fully supported.

Before I had it running at 1280*1024 I'm sure so it DOES support it...
