    Post Video Options these days

I'm upgrading my ATI 8mb(hey, no comments!) to be able to play more of the latest games. I was looking at getting another VooDoo 2 card (which I had and liked), or should I just get the latest AGP 32mb card? I don't have a lot of funds, less than $100.00.

    Any suggestions?

For that kind of money, you can get a Geforce2 64 MB or an ATI Radeon 32MB DDR. Both AGP.

You will still have change for a game.

I believe you can get an ASUS v7100 64MB for about $100 CDN now check it out on the asus site then get a price from your local computer store.

PS. where in Ontario are you from?

I lived in London for a year about 5 years ago at the time every store had there ups and downs so just pick one and check them out your self. try buying online if you don't like what you see around town.

NVIDIA is a manufactur of video cards, the same people who released the TNT series of cards. They've come along way in the past couple of years, but ATI is also good, i think your best off going and reading some reviews, that way you can narrow down your choices to a select few.

    Good Luck

Best bang for your buck would definately be a GeForce2 MX 400 based card or possibly even the Hercules Prophet 4500 which is a 64MB card based on the Kyro2 chipset. I've had good results with this one in low end machines.
My brain went into standby mode and I can't get it to wake up, is there a BIOS patch for this?

Wilthis: I looked around on <a href="http://www.newegg.com" target="_blank">www.newegg.com</a> and found a good video card for 59 dollars (American). If you dont like this one or whatever, you might want to look around on <a href="http://www.newegg.com," target="_blank">www.newegg.com,</a> there are LOTS of good prices. The reason for these good prices most of the time is because they aren't retail, so you dont get the manufacturer's warranty. But anyway check this one
    out... <a href="http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduct.asp?submit=manufactory&catalog=48&manu factory=1126&DEPA=1" target="_blank">http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduct.asp?submit=manufactory&catalog=48&manu fac tory=1126&DEPA=1</a>
Its the ATI Radeon 32MB DDR 4X AGP Video Card for $59
    hope i could help!

    heres another one I found... <a href="http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduct.asp?submit=manufactory&catalog=48&manu factory=1280&DEPA=1" target="_blank">http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduct.asp?submit=manufactory&catalog=48&manu factory=1280&DEPA=1</a> LEADTEK WINFAST GEFORCE2 MX SH 64MB VIDEO CARD for $80
