When I play games I have to restart my computer to do so. If any program has been opened before I play a game (a game with any graphics that would require the use of Direct X - thus eliminating solitaire) it will crash and give me an error saying that ddhelp has caused an invalid page fault (often times in the module vprdd.dll) blah, blah, blah. The error is always thanks to good ole' ddhelp.

Sometimes restarting doesn't even fix the problem. In certain games, I still get an error.

I have a Viper V550 graphics card with all the latest drivers including Direct X 6.1. My computer is a 200Mhz Pentium Pro with 96M RAM, running Win 98. I don't know what I could possibly be doing wrong or be overlooking. Does anybody know?
