    Question Right click is hanging up my system

    If Im any where in windows and right click on an icon it totaly hangs up my system !!
    2 the point where I have to re-start my system.I am up to date on virus checkers.
    Any clues !!It only started when I downloaded a program called morpheus but I have since removed that and installed evidence eliminator my system is running very fast Im over the moon apart from the right click problem !! any clues ! <IMG SRC="smilies/confused.gif" border="0">

    Sounds to me like something might have corrupted Internet Explorer. If it was my computer I would uninstall it (if it's not the Windows native version) and then reinstall the newest version you're comfortable with.

    I have this week updated 2 outlook express 6.

    I will wait and see if there is more help before getting rid of.

    By all means, one of the beautiful things about tech support here at Windrivers is you often get a second, third, fourth and so on opinions about the same problems... several heads can be better than one, and you can get confirmations from different people before trying risky, difficult, or expensive solutions to your problems.

    Also, we can catch each other in the event that someone actually gives BAD advice. It has happened to me a few times. Nobody is perfect! <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

    My nice friend !
    I have done as you have said and deleted Outlook Express 6 and hey it worked right click now works again "Thank You"
    But BUT I now have no Outlook Explorer as windows 98 wont let me install any of the earlier versions mmmmm......
    So nice man I need yer help again !!
