Question Offline brousing using history folder. HELP!

I wasn't sure where to post this message. Please direct me to the appropriate forum if this is not it.

SYSTEM: PII 450MHz 128MB 10GB 56K modem Win 98 SE IE 5.5 I usually do all the upgrades that the Microsoft site offers.

PROBLEM:
My ISP charges an arm and two legs for the dial-up service they offer, so I usually go online open all the pages I need then when I logoff view them via the history folder in MSIE5.5. This worked perfectly up till about 2 weeks ago. Now all the links are greyed our and I can't access them. If I did make any change to the configuration of the browser I can't remember what it is.
HELP.... PLEASE HELP.

Michael

Two things come to mind:
1: Have you rebooted? Always restart the pc cold before panic sets in.
2: Check your History setting; In IE go to tools, Internet options, General tab, at the bottom is the history section make sure your "days to keep in history folder" is set to enough days to your liking. 20 is the default.

All the obvious settings are checked. I'm not too sure if there is any setting in the Advanced section of the 'Internet Options'?

The strange thing is that it was working a week or two ago.
