[RESOLVED] error message
right when im booting into the win98se desktop i get this error message:
unable to load dynamiclink liabrary:
msnp32.dll
the system cannot find the file specified some or all of the following features is not availible
the microsoft network
can you tell me where to get this file and where to put it?
i tried looking under .dll's but its not there

I'm assuming that dll is associated with MSN internet access. If that's the case, then you would need to reinstall your MSN software.

i dont have msn and i dont want it, can you tell me how to get rid of the error message?

If you know what you're doing, go into safe mode and yank all references to it out in the registry (after backing it up of course), at least that is what I would try 1st!

Take a look at your network protocols, it might be attached to or part of Client for Microsoft network. The description is " Network provider for Microsoft networks" You could try uninstalling the client and reinstalling it.
You could also try running SFC from the run line and see if it finds the problem or extract it from your windows disk, which can be done from SFC and put it in your Windows/System folder.
