Favorites Database

Hi,

Could someone point me in the right direction please. I need to get the favorites from an old machine to a new. What I am lookj for is the Database where all the favorites are held so I can copy to new machine.

Paul,

I'm assuming here that you mean favourites from Internet Explorer.

If you look in the \windows folder, there should be a folder called \favorites. Copy this (and any subfolders) to your new machine.

depending on the version of internet explorer
(older ver. copying works)

newer version (4.1+ i think) you must goto file in IE and import/export and export it from the old machine
to import it on the new one.
