How about a good Super 7 board?
I need a GOOD Super 7 Mobo.
My specs/needs:
AMD K63-450+
1 MB CACHE
1 AGP SLOT
2 PCI SLOTS
2 ISA SLOTS
Enough slot room for LONG cards.
Thanx guys.
Bill.

You can't go wrong with Asus. The P5A (ATX) and P5A-B (AT) are excellent motherboards. The P5A has 1 AGP, 5 PCI, and 2 ISA (one PCI-ISA shared) while the P5A-B is a bit 'slot-challenged' and has only 1 AGP, 3 PCI, and 2 ISA (one PCI-ISA shared). I think they only have a 512K cache, but they're very fast.

Soyo SY-5EMA+ 1.1 is an excellent board as well. 5/2/1 slot configuration, 1MB cache, MVP3 chipset. BIOS is kept up-to-date, and ACPI works great.
Can be found for under $60 at Tiger Direct.

I have had both the Asus p-5a and p-5ab and they are great boards, I have just bought a Soyo sy-5ehm super 7 and the only problem I had was with the bios, I updated it and this is one nice little board
I think you will like the Soyo since they have 1 meg of cache, that is why I grabbed this bare board out of the sales bin and it was the only one there
Take a look at the Asus and Soyo sites, I would go for an ATX style board since you get more slots and you can buy a nice tower case for lots of growing room
Have fun building your system

Yes, how could I forget.
Tyan S1598 is excellent, very stable and fast. It's a file server and router, been going 24/7 since September (hard drive upgrade).

I have an Epox MVP3 Super Socket 7 and it runs like a champ. No problems at all. Very sturdy and reliable.

We used MVP3G for a long time, 6 months or so, with good results, before mid-1999 Epox all of a sudden could not produce a stable board for about a month. RMA rate was ridiculous, almost 100%, and all with weird problems. For that reason we had to find alternatives, and FAST, and the alternatives have actually proven to be very solid and stable solutions in the long run too.
