    Exclamation Win98 printer trouble

    Having trouble printing in 98 gives me a error. "There is an error printing to LPT1".
    Changed printers, print cables, print drivers, port settings (spp,epp,ecp) nothing.
    prints out of dos fine, so i changed to port to LPT1.DOS and it prints fine, that tells me windows but not sure, happened before only way I fixed it was formatting and starting over. Any ideas
