Unhappy Added memory cause resource errors and out of memory errors

I have a system with a Tyan trinity 400 motherboard and have just added a 256 MB PC133 stick of ram to my existing 128 MB and now when I get into windows I get errors that the resources are maxed and that the system is out of memory, any ideas why I might be having this prob?

First of all, remove the new memory module and see if everything is fine as it was without it.
Then download a memory stress utility to check the new module. I use DocMemory ( www.docmemory.com ). Maybe it's faulty somehow, or not compatible with your motherboard.

    Good luck!

    No problem!

A colleague of mine had similar problems with 256 RAM modules. He tried lots of them to find the one that worked properly.
    Good luck!
