how to logon to Microsoft Networking
Recently i was going to connect two computers via ethernet cards. One was running Win98 and the other Win95A. The Win98 computer had a dialogue that popped up to ask if you want to logon to Microsoft Networking. But I didn't get this dialogue on the Win95 computer and I was unable to make it connect to the Win98 computer. How do I get that screen to come up and let me logon to the network?

Two issues here Microsoft Networking has to be installed on both machines with a t least one common protocol, for just 2 machines I recommend Netbuei as it requires no additional configuration other than file and print sharing being turned on. Also you cannot use a regular cat 5 cable you need a crossover cable.
