Resolved [RESOLVED] Explorer 5.0 won't accept cookies

I've put together two computers recently using an Athlon 800 and an ASUS K7M board. Both computers are on a local network. I loaded Win98 SE on a fresh harddrives. When I set up Explorer 5.0 on both of them even if I set the Security level below high niether one will accept cookies. Its not a big deal except for a few sites. Its slowly driving me mad.

Other computers that are on this network accept cookies without a problem.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Where you set security settings, click "custom level." At the bottom of that window, you can choose a base security level, and that will set all of the options appropriately. Then, however, you can manually set all of your options if you want. Scroll down a bit, and you can enable cookies there.

    Cool

It turns out the Date on my computer was set for 2014 and not the current date. That's why it would not accept cookies. Thanks for the reply
