    Post need more hard drives

    how can i get more hard drives installed in my system? is there any way to get more IDE slots.
    Ive seen only one board with 4 IDE slots, it was an epox. does anyone know of others. are there any inherent problems with these boards? any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Get a PCI EIDE card like one from www.promise.com and that will allow you to add 4 more EDIE devices to your computer.

    I motherboards with 4 IDE connectors are mainly user for a RAID configuration. Im not sure if they will run as normal IDE Chanels or not?
    But like MacGyver said you could use a PCI IDE controller card. They are pretty cheap.
