    Post Abit KT7A Raid Windows 2k IRQ conflict problem

    When I installed Windows 2k on my computer it wants to put my NIC card, Geforce256 and my Aureal 8810 Sound card on the same IRQ. I've tried everything and I can't get it to change. Anyone have any suggestions or had this problem?
    If you say the P3 is faster than the Athlon then I automatically know that you know nothing about computers or are on *ntel's payroll.

    Are any of these devices not working correctly? Sharing an IRQ through IRQ Steering is only a problem if you have a device that doesn't come with fully compliant drivers. If one of your devices isn't working correctly try trading places between different PCI slots. For example, on my system PCI slot #4 shares an IRQ with USB and a couple of my USB devices won't work reliably if I plug anything else into slot #4. At last check my system had 7 devices on IRQ11 without any problems.
