[RESOLVED] How to transfer files from an old hard drive

Need professional help please.

I am using a system running window98 with no problem so far. Planning to build another system with similar hardware configuration (well, just a little better)and give the old system to my sister.Therefore, I want, if possible, to use the files or data e.g ICQ information; from the old hard drive for my new hard drive. Will it boot up normally if I use the old drive in the new system? But I still want to keep the new drive for myself because its a 20gig 2mb cache drive. Now, how can I make it possible?
